Is it alright to like give my leo's baths?

Like if I fill up a little tub with warm water and let them stand/lay in it for a minute or so?

Would this hurt them?

no, it wont hurt them, but you would be well advised to do it in something smaller with a flat bottom. Too much water can scare them. I dont know about you, but I know that my tub has a deeper end than the other. Also, the water has to be lukewarm(roughly 90*). Too warm water can hurt the gecko. The water level should be no higher than the geckos elbows. If he/she starts to freak, don't worry. Just stick your finger or hand in there to comfort them. They are desert animals, so they dont like water too much, although warm soaks can occasionally be enjoyed by them. It just depends on the gecko.

Beardies in the tub are okay, but leopard geckos in the tub IMO would be too much for them. I too would recommend a deil-cup or plastic container. We also put paper towel strips on the bottom so that the gecko has something to grasp on, instead of sliding around.

Also, to make sure that the water isn't too warm, remember that our bodies are 98.6 degrees, and the water should feel cool (not cold) to you.

I would highly reccommend against soaking your geckos. We had a female that freaked out and inhaled water! So we don't soak them any more. We put a moist paper towel inside a deli cup and close the deli cup. Then put it over the warm side of the enclosure. It helps to losen any stuck shed.
