I was just looking back at this, Didnt know you played Minecraft or Skyrim ( Which I was really obbsesed with for a while and currently still am! Btw Hows the new tegu is this the one that you put a deposit on?

Yeah those are both seriously awesome games - haven't had time to play as much lately but still keep going back to those from time to time.

That is the same tegu I had the deposit on. He is an absolutely amazing little lizard. He is almost too smart - took him two days to start recognizing simple words (specifically "Loki" and "Food"). He is extremely active and playful - had to get him some dog toys to keep him busy. I've been taking a bunch of pictures of him - he's decided that this is a new game and ambushes the camera. Every time I go to take a picture he leaps in the air and lands on the phone, digs at it a bit, and then jumps down and waits for me to try and take another picture. He is a handful, but an incredibly entertaining little lizard.

Btw How are your sick geckos doing? The home treatment I've been using with mine seems to actually be working (repta-aid + fluker's liquid calcium). One has made almost a full recovery and the other is looking a bit better (not out of the woods yet unfortunately). Hope yours are doing better.

1 of the geckos Thesus is back on eating again though he had never come down with any thing so thats good,
Artemis is having a horrible time, I dont seen too many signs that shes getting better but she looks like shes healing with her walking. I recently posted on the Thread today if you wanted to read on how shes doing and im going to post more photos that i took today but i cant say every thing is as going by planned. I seriously hope this ends before Augest 20th because ill be going to a Reptile Expo around there and then school starts which means she wont be able to get my full attention 24/5 or atleast when im in school. Im going to take your advice and order the Flukers liquid calcium, Achillies new Bulbs (Im at dads house, And they burned out a Mom's so i'll order them before I go ) and a new cage for Artemis.

Glad you did, I can't really say the thread is dead yet so you should post some things about your self Styx ;)
After all who ever said the community stopped growing? This thread was just inactive because a lot of people already posted on it, And then you joined and so did a couple other people. Feel free to tell us about your self.

It's been awhile since the last post :) But since I'm new I'm creeping all the old posts!

My name is Jolene. I've owned a wide variety of critter. Mice, hamsters, gerbils, degus, newts, frogs, salamanders, fish, snakes, ferrets, cats and dogs. I'm a little leery of birds, but my sister had budgies and I did hold one once!! Now we own a baby leopard gecko. I curbed my animal collecting when I got with my spouse, as he isn't such an animal person....though he loves the gecko! So now it's just two dogs and Dora.

I run my own bussiness, an in home private dayhome. Kids.....all day. The silence of Dora the gecko is almost theraputic! I like to read and play some video games. I enjoyed Skyrim when I played it with my ten year old nephew, but I'm a die hard Mario fan :). I'm 26 and I'm in Canada!

Can't believe I never saw this thread...Chris,36, kitchen ninja by trade (but awesome at anything I choose to do), longer hair & lots of tats. I keep tarantulas to keep my ex-wife out of my house (she's a severe arachnaphobe), I enjoy creative applications of fire,I probably watch too much TV (definitely watch too many cartoons), I'm addicted to Tim Burton and Kevin Smith movies, and I have a 9 yr-old son who lives with the ex.
