This season i want to try to make giant bells, i recently picked up a normal giant or big normal, he was at 1 pt 120grams and is 10", he is not het for tremper as he was put with a tremper and made only hets so technically i was wondering if it has been done and if so any pointers like should i test breed him again or try it with a rainwater as well but very unlikely as there are no rainwaters around the east side???

There are giant bells, I've seen a few, but they're not common as most giants are tremper line and have some tremper genes in them. If you don't know for sure that your male came from giant lines, theres no way to be positive he is a genetic giant, as there are big "non-giants." If he was bred to a tremper and didn't produce any albinos then it's most likely he's not het for it. I would test him with a rainwater as well before breeding him with a bell. If he produces young that fit giant parameters then it's pretty likely he's a giant. Good luck with your project.

Yes, there are alot of Giant Bells. The person that 1st made them is Nevin Moyer of www.moyersmonsters.com - they are called Monster Bells (if his line)... And he is actually on these forums alot aswell... SN is either = "Nevin" or "NevinM" (can't remember which it is, but i know i have seen him on these forums)... If you are looking for any, PM him. But anyway, for any info, i would contact him, or check out his page, and it tells the story/history of how he 1st made them years ago...
