Hi together!
I havn't posted my geckos for a while- but today is a very special day for me, and I couldn't resist to share:

I FINALLY hatched out the very first Giant Hyglo babys ever in our stock :)!!

I have waited to see the first offspring from this project for some time now. For incubated females they turned out nicer than I expected, but we will see how they will truly develop within the next weeks:main_rolleyes:..

This bloodline once was my "first true love" when I got into colourmophs and therefore they always had a very special place in my heart:smitten:.

So today, I just felt the same I did many years ago when I just watched them from the distance, hoping to hatch out my own Giant Hyglos one day..

Isn't it beautiful to see how this hobby never gets boring ;)??

Thanks so much everybody :)!!
The Parents are both pure A&M Giant Hyglos (bred by Alberto in 2007).

Huge congrats! I'm a bit surprised those lines still exist...

Well, technically they don't really :(.
Unfortunately A&M stopped breeding them (I think it was even before Alberto quit breeding but I'm not sure). So, my breeding partner and I try our best to collect whats still alround and keep them alive.

Honestly I'm not sure if we can achieve this goal, as A&M did an amazing job those times, and there are not many pure line animals of good quality out there anymore. But we will try our very best, and the next generations will show..

We will work with pure line animals aswell with some well thought-out outcrosses in the coming years, and then see what happens :).

I just love the Giant Hyglos too much to simply give up on them yet :main_thumbsup:..

Wow, the right one is simply amazing!!! :main_thumbsup: I didn't even know those quality animals were around back in 2007 :main_rolleyes: Congrats on your beautiful hatchlings. I really like the striped one. Hope they will get your project running next year, so you can re-introduce this amazing morph!
