As soon as I saw the picture of the viv (nice setup by the way) I KNEW everyone was going to tell you to switch the sand. lol

It's better to be safe than sorry though. And your little on looks like he's got some attitude! Very cute! :3

Yeah as everybody else said...sand out...i used sand for a day then switched it to tile after reading some of the posts about impaction on this forum (see some of the pictures if you dont believe us) Your gecko is really cute by the way...awsome colouring! Good luck, hope you enjoy the forum!

i have read a lot on the site about impaction and i have spoken to the shop i purchased gizmo from and they are of the opinion that allthe talk about impaction etc is overated. i am not so sure and i will change the base to quarry tiles asap. thankyou for your comments dave
