Goodbye Milo :(

Hey everyone,

Tonight at my parents house the family dog Milo (a blue heeler cattle dog that we have had for 15 years) started coughing up blood (he was old and had not been himself for a number of weeks.

We all sat with him and tried to comfort him and he then spewed up a huge pool of blood.... its hard to talk about this.

He was looking so pale,thin.... we had no choice but to take him to the vet to be euthanized.........

Im the kind of man that never cries over anything. i cant remember the last time i did. but i cried then and i am now.

RIP Milo, I love you mate.

Darren, I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how you are feeling. I had to put down my cat of the last 15 years (he was 20) last year...it killed me.

Darren, I am so very sorry you had to say goodbye to Milo. I honestly know how hard the decision is to put them down, and the huge hole it leaves in your heart. Once the raw grief wears off though, you will always have wonderful memories of him and how much he enriched your lives.

I'm glad you could share this with all of us... we can be your shoulder during this time.

Darren, I'm sorry you had to experiance something so traumatic & difficult. Cry, cry, and cry some more. Put aside the "don't cry" mindset for a little bit. You gave Milo the best life you could...rest assured he is grateful, and watching over you.

I just want to thank everyone from the heart. Your kind words and thoughts mean allot.
Its still hard but i just keep moving forward, gotta keep flowing hey, thats all you can do. but ill always love him and miss him.
