Gravid, or Overweight?

My gargoyle gecko suddenly shot up in mass about a month ago, becoming very round. I didn't and haven't changed how much I feed her, however- she gets 1/2 tsp of pangea powder mixed with 1 tsp of water 3x a week. She's allowed to eat as much as she wants in one sitting and then I take the bowl away so she doesn't continue to eat throughout the night. She seldom finishes all the food she gets, though sometimes if it's a flavour she likes she might eat most of it.

I had thought she was gravid when she got really round since she was round in a kind of symmetrical way, it happened suddenly, and I hadn't changed her diet. However it's been maybe a little over a month now and I'm not sure if she is gravid after all at this point. Can these geckos remain gravid for that long? Is it possible she just feels she doesn't have a suitable environment to lay in? She has piles of moist sphagnum moss but no actual lay box.

I can post pictures if it helps, I'm just not sure if she's terribly overweight or just refusing to lay these duds.

Thank you for any advice!

It would help to have pictures.

Of course. Sorry for the late response, I was unable to access a computer for a while. Here are the pictures I took of her when I noticed she was getting large:

I agree that she's incredibly chunky. I have 7 females gargoyles, most of whom continue to lay eggs without benefit of a male and even when they're ready to lay they don't look like that! Consider going down on the CGD to twice a week (which is what I do) and see if things change within a month.

Hello,

I just wanted to reply to let you know that she was actually carrying eggs. I don't know why she took almost 2 months to do it but she finally laid them last night and is back to looking like a very healthy weight!
