Hey everyone!
First time signing up here, and I’m stoked to find such a great community of fellow herp and invert keepers. I’ve pretty much been flying solo with this hobby up until now — I’ll shoot the breeze with the local pet shop owner every once in a while, but for the most part I’ve just been doing my own thing. I’m really hyped to finally meet more people into the same stuff!
I’ve kept some different herps over the years. Here’s my current crew:
- 1 New Caledonian giant gecko (leachie)
- 1 crested gecko
- 2 tarantulas — full transparency, I don’t know the exact species. One has a black body with purple legs, the other’s orange with blue legs
- 2 White’s tree frogs, one with white spotting
- 1 tiny mossy frog
I also grow a bunch of live plants and run a reef tank on the side.
I’m super big on giving all these animals proper care with tons of enrichment and space, so I’m not into the whole basic plain-bin enclosure vibe.
Anyway, really glad to join the family. Looking forward to chatting with you all!
