good point. it could have been a baby. but still, grass green is pretty far off from any baby gecko ive seen.

No, it was a fully grown adult. It might have been a genetic anomaly. It died of hepatic lipidosis (a disease where fat mobilized to the liver and it causes loss of function), which is rare in reptiles, I imagine especially rare in leopard geckos since they can survive off the fat in their tails for some time.
skin color being yellow green is a common side effect of liver failure. DING! i win.
