I live less than a mile from everything I need, in Rocky River, Ohio (look it up) ..... until June. Ken's moved me out in the middle of nowhere, I have to drive a ways to get to the store. What was he thinking taking a city girl all the way out there? :main_no:

Oh well power came back on at about 11:00 after the temps in my house dropped to 61.1. Tori and I cuddled in bed under the blankies till the power came on and we feel back to sleep.

the gecko was quite displeased when his UTH turned off. he came out of his hide and was like "wtf is this crap?!"

Glad your power is back, Felicia! I'm sure Tori was happy as could be snuggling with her mommy all morning!

Rocky River is certainly not a podunk town! I lived there for 18 years - don't think we ever had a power outage anywhere near that long. Now, I really do live in a podunk town and the power does go out on a very regular basis.

I guess I'm lucky cause I live on the same grid as the hospital when the power goes out it doesn't take long for it to come back on.
