Guess who got a Nova?!

Well, I figured since these past few months have been kinda rocky for me (okay well, they've been downright harsh) that I needed something to cheer me up.

So off I went to the reptile expo in Davie, Florida this morning. I got there at the crack of dawn to make sure I didn't miss anything good, but it was a small show anyway. I would have taken pictures for you guys, but there were seriously about 5 vendors there. But, as you can probably imagine, I managed to find myself something. I was originally thinking male, since I just lost one of my males. However, I never end up getting what I think i'm going to get. :main_laugh:

Well, without further adieu, i'd like to indroduce 8 week old "Cherry"...Sorry for the not so good cell phone pictures, but you get a decent idea of her...

And my attempt at getting the solid red eyes...she wasn't having it.

She's one of the most gorgeous things i've ever laid my eyes on. I've been wanting one forever and I FINALLY got one!

Thank you. But don't be too disappointed. When I say there was about 5 vendors there, i'm serious LOL. I happen to be down the street, and Cherry followed me home (don't they all? :main_rolleyes, but it's nothing to drive from Jacksonville for. The room was about the size of my one bedroom apartment. The vendors there were Masterpiece Geckos, Scales n Fur, Goldcoast Reptiles (i'm not sure if he was selling some of Rekowski's stuff too, Mike couldn't make it) and Adam Chesla Reptiles. Very small, but it's kinda nice like that because that way you get to spend more time with each vendor.
