Has anyone had a 4 month old gecko ovulate?

Yes, they do ovulate stupid early sometimes. Focus on keeping them interested in food, and give extra extra calcium in case they do decide to lay slugs. This is one of those instances where waxworms are acceptable 2-4 times a month.

Good luck, and I hope she's bluffing. They usually reabsorb at that age, but it can affect their growth.

i see, thanks for the advice, i guess the worst case scenario is that she stays small her whole life.

Staying small her whole life is not likely, she might be a smidge smaller than she would have been...but more commonly it just slows down their growth curve. It's basically getting interrupted at intervals instead of remaining steady.

ok, well now i know why she wasnt growing as fast as other geckos, at first i thought it was because most geckos grow at different rates but then i checked her belly and noticed the ovulations.
