Has anyone seen feet/toes like this before?

Dan, thank you! The other leos are great. Especially the females.

They are all ready settling into their new habitat. The Giant PRS Albino female is extremly laid back and friendly. I look forward to see what she can produce with our Giant Tremper het RAPTOR.

David, that is ok we all get a little defensive, especially for one of our favorite animals.

Paul, I agree. Thanks for your post, not everyone seems to hear about the "downside" to shipping live animals.

Thad, OK no problem. Sounds good. Yea, you managed to get my three fattest/nicest females. lol

I`m really sorry about what happened, I hope that female heals well. Take good care of her for us!

Dan, why did you ship the gecko out without removing the shed from her toes?...if she had just shed a few days before it shouldn't have taken more than 5 min to get it off....you didn't have a chance for 5 min before boxing her up? Disregarding everything else with the gecko.....I don't think a gecko should EVER be shipped out to someone with stuck shed on it anywhere....and I can't think of any legitimate reason to leave it on anyway. Retained shed is going to pose a huge risk in shipping with there generally being very low humidity...thus increasing the likelihood of the retained shed shrinking and causing considerable constriction....which it looks like happened in this case. Do you have any sort of explanation for leaving the shed on the gecko's toes?...

Nope, I just did not notice it until the last minute. I had not cleaned tubs since she had shed, so I did not even see it until the day she was being shipped. I did not have time to do it, and make it to drop the box off in time.

I really did not think one layer of skin, could do any damage, as it happens to some of my geckos from time to time, with no problem. I mean they come off fine, with no damage to their toes. So I left it, not thinking anything of it. I guess I hoped Thad would know what to do, and not to let it stay on for any more sheds, which can definitely cause damage.
