Has anyone had any trouble breeding king meal worms?
I have been able to pupae the worms then they hatch in to beetles but the beetles don't seem to be producing eggs. I wonder if it is temps.

I have not had any problems producing my own regular meal worms I have produced a couple of generations with them now.

Any suggestions.

To the best of my understanding... the problem is that sometimes "king mealworm" and superworm are used interchangeably, when they are really two different things. You can breed superworms, but king mealworms are large mealworms treating with hormones so that they won't pupate, but will continue to grow.
