Hm, I am sure you will find a great deal of excellent information here in the forum. If it comes to books, I really liked 'The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos' by Ron Tremper and Philippe de Vosjoli.

Very informative, beautiful pictures and I would say all you have to know to get started.

Wow I read that about 10 years ago. Helps with the basics. But this site is among the best resources in geckos, period. Then again geckos aren't necessarily the hardest animals to keep either...

Best leo book: The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos(better book if you're interested in breeding)

2nd best book: Leopard Gecko Manual (geared more towards new owners, great for basics)

Both books are well written, I prefer the Herpetoculture because it's got better info for breeding and morphs, and it's more modern. The Leopard Gecko manual is pretty good, a bit too focused on Naturalistic setups for me, and the morph list is way outdated, but informative still.

Both books are excellent for basic knowledge and a bit beyond that. They may be less helpful for an experienced keeper with specific questions, but that is what this site can be for.
