He looks like he has good body weight. His mouth does look a little weird. I have no experience with these animals, so I couldn’t tell you what to do, you might take him to the vet, and see what he has to say.

I was also going to ask about hydration. Make sure it has ample water.

Also, how's it eating? It looks like it has maybe not been eating as much as it should, but it is not underweight if that makes sense.

He feeds on lettuce mixed with cat food in the blender as I re call. He does not have a healthy and near enough food items that he shoud be eating. Poor skink. :(

That is not Skyline's skink. She is baby setting it this summer. Just some info I thought you'd like to know. ;)

Yeah, he has enough water and the pic looks weird cuz he was opening his mouth to lick. i caught him right before he opened it to lick :D. I have been feeding him some squashed banana this week and he always has some mealies or supers along with his food(cat food blended with lettuce). IDK if this helps, but....yeah. thanks for the replys and i am looking forward to hearing more from you guys :).

I've been keeping these guys as a project with a friend for about 10 years. You do not need to blender up their greens, just put some in spring mix form along with their cat food. They also love superworms and some like larger crickets. They will eagerly eat Repashy MRP Diets, which would be a great way to correct whatever nutritional deal is probably going on here along with Repashy Calcium Plus for supplementation of insect food. I bought a male juvie about two years back with obvious ridges in his back, put him on this diet, and he is extremely robust. Here's the little rascal now eating the Repashy two part MRP diet:

Thanks! Mel is a cutie! :)

Allen Repashy is known for his work on Rhacodactylus and developing a high quality series of supplement (Calcium Plus) and Rhac food, mainly Crested Gecko Diet, which is a mix of (MRP Base) nutrients and three popular flavors (MRP flavors). He also started selling the base and flavors separately so you can really customize your diet and mix it up. Some folks maintain their Crested geckos and other Rhacs competely on Allen's diets. MRP means Meal RePlacement. I keep several Rhac species and alternate the MRP diets and insect foods.

We found that many tropical species of geckos, including Phelsuma and skinks also like Allen's MRPs.

For more info check out his forums:

Allen asked me to hang out in the Phelsuma forums a couple years ago there since that is an area of my expertise. Many really sharp folks are on there and Philippe de Vosjoli is often seen lurking! ;)

Hope that answers your questions! If not let me know.
