Hi, I am a grandfather of 5 and one is why I have a Gecko. It's hers but stays with me. My granddaughter ( 10 going on 16 ) and I are "pet people". I have owned so many kinds of pets it's too long to list. I had a Spider Monkey when I was 12 years old. My father had hunting dogs and started carrying a food bucket and water I think not long after I could walk...LOL.

I have had several reptiles but was never really hooked on them, till we got the Gecko recently. I had to do research and found this forum which has been a big help.

I normally don't like forums but this one is tops with no "crazy" people who don't have a life but to ruin most forums. Good job moderators! :main_thumbsup:

Wow what was it like to have a Spider Monkey? Welcome to GF

Awesome! He was very tame and almost like a dog that would come when you called it. Except he would climb up my leg to get on my shoulder and wrap his tail around my neck. When I would run..... he would lock his hands around my neck and hang down my back....... way cool!

I was letting him sleep with me ( on my pillow ) till my mom found poop on the blanket....... that was the end of that....LOL!

Mine was a great pet! But like I said, I'm a pet person and love all wildlife and find every creature fascinating. Except cats..... only had one. For some reason it's that I don't give a dang if you are saying anything...... i'm going to ignore you...LOL!

The only pet I have yet to own and want, is a parrot. I would love an African Grey , that was tame and a so called "good one".
