Hello,
I am new to reptiles in general and have been doing a lot of research on leopard geckos before purchasing one and have joined here to get some first hand experienced cares information. Any and all info is welcome. I love the black and white snow morphs and am thinking about getting one of those. My biggest concern is my other animals. I have two cats and while I can easily seperate the gecko and the cats when the gecko is out but I wondered if anyone on here had any advice on cats and if them bieng around the geckos enclosure was stressful. Any other advice is much appreciated.

Mostly you just need to secure the gecko enclosure:
- cover is strong enough for a cat to jump on or restrict access
- cover is secured with clips and can't be knocked off
- enclosure cannot be pushed off onto floor

Welcome! I have 2 cats also and they pretty much ignore the geckos once they figured out (years ago) that they can't get into the cages. I've also seen some of the geckos watching the cats in (positive) fascination.
