They say this on their website:

Over the past couple of days we have posted 7 Crested Geckos and 3 Gargoyle Geckos. We are currently downsizing our Rhacodactylus collection. We still have a few more to post. Also, We have started to include Pore Shots with all of our sexed Available Animals. This is so you can see for yourself with our younger animals that they are accuratley sexed. So, please check back soon. As always let us know if you have any questions.

I guess that means they're going by pores?

It's hard for me to tell the difference so I think maybe I'll just keep all of our cresteds to avoid any confusion. lol (but don't tell Keith) ;)

You can see pores in those pics, but as Jeanne already said it's acurate when they are a bit bigger. Just like louping leos, young females dimpled scales under magnification can look like pores till they are about 15 grams.

i have kept and bred cresties and even some "females" end up being males and vice versa. that is why i did not sell any sexed animals until i was SURE (ie ball or no balls). lets say they sex them at that age, you buy one and it ends up the opposite sex you wanted. do they have a guarantee. on those photos i saw two that looked to have pores, out of the four. with all the colors and stuff who knows if those are truly pores or not or just part of the coloring.

Very true! I wont sell until I know 100% what the sex is. However I do loupe to get an idea of the ones I realy like to see if they look to be the sex that I want them to be for holding back. It helps me start making plans for the next season. However I have been known to change those plans often before breeding season starts. :p
