Help me pick a camera I narrowed it down to 2

I have narrowed down my camera search to 2 cameras the first one is the Pentax K200D and the second one is the Canon EOS Rebel XSI I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of these cameras and could help me narrow it down to one.

Canon XSI! I've never used a Pentax so I can't be completely objective but I've had the first Canon Rebel and now a 40D and the XSI is a lot of camera for the money.

I just purchased the Canon Rebel XSi. Take a look at our website www.ohiogecko.com. All The images with the blue background or www.ohiogecko.com watermark on them are from the new camera. I used the stock lense for all the photos.

It is a great camera and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow, I just came across this thread! I have one of these on order from B&H Photo! :main_yes: I think I got a pretty good deal.
It will replace my Nikon coolpix 8700 which Ive had about 4 years.
I have never owned a Canon, but the Rebel XSi is very highly rated, and
they even sell "companion" books on how to get the most out of them.
I ordered a copy from Amazon.

I ordered mine w/ the standard lens, but plan to get a good macro ASAP!
