Hi, i have a male and a female leopard gecko. They bred about 3 weeks ago. She got real big and then small. I looked everywhere in her cage and never found any eggs. Why did she absorb the eggs? Please help i need to know why!

If you are pretty certain that when she's big she has eggs in her tummy and that they seem to disappear now. There is a possibility that she absored the eggs back as calcium ( egg shells) into her body, most often these are infertile eggs. Its not suprising to see infertile eggs at 1st cluctch, so keep going and dun give up . Cheers !

If she is anything like my pictus geckos, she may be better at hiding that you are at finding. :)

I would look at your calcium supplementation regimen. Most likely cause for egg absorption is lack of fertilization, followed by lack of minerals, as far as I know.
