Help please! My leopard gecko has has some trouble shedding recently. It kept getting stuck in his eyes. I watched some videos and gently used a qtip and water to get the shed out. Now those I think his eyes are infected. I tried getting in to see a vet but right now because of covid they are either not open or very booked up!

If you can find a reptile vet that's open, even if it's booked up, make an appointment (even if it's not for immediately). If you see any tiny pieces of shed, use tweezers to remove them. You can gently wash the eye with warm water on a q-tip but ultimately, the vet needs to see the gecko to prescribe the correct antibiotic and the correct dosage.
