Help with leopard gecko heating

I bought an IPower heat pad and the surface temperature is about 91 degrees. I placed it under my tank and it only warmed the hot side floor up to 80 degrees. Im using a 10gallon glass tank with reptile carpet. Is there anything I can do to get the pad working better? Is there another heat pad I can order that will work better?

There has been concern with the Zoomed UTH's that they are not heating adequately either. One thing that often helps the heater work better is to tape aluminum foil over it, so the heater is sandwiched between the glass bottom of the tank and the aluminum foil. If you decide to change heaters, I do recommend Zoomed heat cable because it can be taped and reaped in different locations. Once you attach the UTH, it's not supposed to be good for reuse if you rip it off. Ideally you will want to use a 20 gallon tank when your (presumably juvenile) leopard gecko becomes an adult.
