Help With Leo's Missing Toes?

My leopard gecko shed again today while I was at school. I KNEW it was going to loose toes if I couldn't be there to help it, and it did. I need someone to tell me how to clean the wounds before they get infected! I know more toes will be lost because I couldn't help it get off skin from other toes from the previous shed and I would also like to know if I can fix this right now before it gets worse!
Also look at my question on Yahoo Answers (I was in a rush to get help) for more information!

About My leo:
- Sex: Dunno
- Age & Weight: Dunno (I wish I did)
- How long have you owned your leo: Almost a month
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend): Pet Solutions; captive breeder, mail shipped.

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo: Not too often. I think I should more.
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now.: Doesn't want to walk around but earlier walked out of the hide when it saw me, that's when I notice the toes.
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe. : Stuck toe shed, one toe on each foot at least :(
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal) :Nope, all normal and all in the same place.
- When was the last time he/she went: Today, sometime in the morning.
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on: Look at the top. Missing toes.

Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size :20 gal long
- Type (ex. glass tank): Glass aquarium
- Type of substrate: Carpet
- Hides, how many, what kind: 2; One cave, one log. It won't go in the moist hide so I only put it in when it sheds.
B) Heating
- Heat source: Heat mat
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side): Hot-90 Cool-73 (about)
- Method of regulating heat source- Rheostat err whatever it's called; the little dial thing.
- What are you using to measure your temps: Digital thermometer with a probe on the warm side.
- Do you have any lights (describe): A normal desk lamp NEXT TO the enclosure. I don't want to fry it.
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females): Only child
- Describe health, or previous problems: N/A

Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet: Mealworms, about 3/4"
- What you're feeding (how often, how much): Every day, about five. I usually feed when it stares at me while standing in its food bowl. That's its hunger sign!
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect): Sometimes hand fed; usually in a dish.
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands): Repashy All In One on food, Zoo Med Calcium w/out D3 in a dish
- What are you gut loading food with: Lettuce and whatever the mealworm bedding stuff is. It's what I get from a local pet store (not a chain)

Go see a vet. thats what I would do. If you want to know the weight of your gecko, go buy a scale and weight it yourself.
I'm not really understanding why it lost toes...you must have been out of the house for like 8 hours? Thats not really long enough to loose toes is it? Maybe someone else can answer that. If it has problems shedding, you can help it along by putting it in warm water, not so much that it can drown, just a little so it covers its feet.
How big would you say your leo is? Because if its a juvi, you should be feeding it more, when mine were growing they would sometimes devour 25 mealworms a night, basically they can regulate their own food, so fill up the bowl and keep doing that until it stops eating, then you will know if it needs more food and how much you should be feeding it.

Unless it bit them off i would say it normaly takes atleast a day or 2 for toes to actually fall off from constriction.

I think they were saying it had skin remaining from the LAST shed, and this shed they pulled their toes off during THIS shed. So it sounds like there was a lot of time with skin on toes.

Keep your enclosure very clean to prevent infection. You can put your leo in some very shallow, warm water. They should heal with no problems, this is an unfortunate but commom problem.

Okay, so it took off some more skin overnight. Only one toe is in danger of loss now, he somehow got off all the stuck skin from the other feet safely. I found out with further observation he isn't missing toes, one is really small and thin and blood red and the other looks like he bit his toe too hard when taking shed off. He's better, but I can't seem to get him into a container to carry him to the sink in. He figures out what to avoid as soon as it works, so I can't use the same method twice... Hopefully he will let me later.
