Here they are together...not sure what kind of Leos they are.

My little striped girl was quite a bit smaller than her room mate and seems to be catching up quite nicely. :D

A lot of times a bigger (or fatter) leo can intimidate the smaller one and keep it from getting enough food, even though you may not see signs of aggression. You might try dividing the tank in half, or at least putting a bowl of mealworms on each end of the tank so the little one has more of a chance to eat uninterrupted. It looks to me like the smaller one is a high yellow and the bigger one is definitely a patternless. Welcome the site, there's lots of great info on here!

Your little one looks like mine. Mine's a normal from Petsmart.

You might want to check out the posts on substrates & sand to form your own opinion as to using it or not. Many people here say NO! Use the search function to find the posts...there's a lot of information on it.
