Hi my name is Jessica and me and my mom own a leopard gecko named gecki. Gecki is really my mom gecko not mine. He is the first gecko we have ever had but i have bearded dragons. We adopted him at petsmart they were adopting him out because he had broken his foot a month before and that it had healed backwards. But the way he runs around you cant even tell. We hadn't been planning to get a pet that day but my mom seen the picture of him and asked to see him and she just fell in love with him. We currently have him in a 10 gallon tank but it gonna get upgraded soon. He has repta carpet and 2 hides and his water bowl his food bowl and his calcum bowl. He love just being out with my mom. He seems to shed every 2 week about. Is that the normal schedual for there shedding? How can you tell if there male or female? Is there anything you think I need to get for him? He only eats mealworms I got him cricket when we first got him cricket and he refused to eat them but the second I showed him a mealworm he ate the mealworm real quick. He get as many mealworms as he wants l. Are then any other bugs he can eat so that he can have some variety.

Welcome to GF. Google "leopard gecko sexing" and you'll see pictures of male and female. You can try superworms when he gets bigger. ALso leopard geckos like roaches and silkworms. Enjoy him.
