Well, I have a Tremper Albino female. And she has always been a weird Eater.. well, since I got her. I Have done the Mealies steady with her. She always has them avail to her. And I have tried Crickets.. But always have to fetch them out cause she has NO interest in them. I have tried Wax worms.. And she still wont eat steady for me. She has not touched a worm prolly in over a week. I used to be able to get her to eat ONLY By putting it right in front of her on the tongs.. and that was still iffy. :-/ She was pooing but only like ever few days. And now, I don't even remember when she pooed last. Her temps on the warm side during the day are roughly 91-95. And at night can go to 88 give or take.
She is in a 20gal Long by herself. So, there is No bulying.. :-/ *sigh* My other two girls out eat her in a matter of moments! They are wonderful eaters! Crickets mealies and wax worms.. No prob with them. Just this tremper I am having such a problem with her. She was 58g the last time I had her on a scale. And I can't find the paper I wrote it on,so I Don't know the date. But it has been a while. And I Weighed her tonight and she is 51g. So, she is loosing weight. :(
I don't think her temps have fallen any since I have gotten her. She tends to lay on the cold side for days and sometimes in her Humid hide for days until I pull her out and hold her for a while.. then she somtimes goes back in her warm hide. She is semi Active.. She moves around the cage a bit..and climbs the walls. LOL

So, I dunno what to try with her. :( Any Ideas? I really don't want to learn to force feed. *cry*

I have a female like that and she will only eat giant mealworms and nothing else and I also put her in a smaller cage and she its great now,so I would try to put her in a 10 gallon and see how she does and if that doesn't work than I would take some fecal to the vet to be checked for parasites because you never no.

Have you tried roaches? Or maybe silkworms or butterworms (butterworms really aren't a great staple, but hey if it gets her to eat...) I would try roaches first, though. Apparently, lots of people have had great success...if you can find it in you to keep those things in your house ;)

Superworms are the easiest different feeder to get (besides crickets and mealworms). If she's been interested in mealworms, maybe she'll go for these. If she's the right age, maybe she's ovulating and it's decreased her appetite. I had one gecko that kept staying on the cool side and I kept encouraging her to move to the hot side where she has finally gotten comfortable. I also had a male fat tail who didn't eat most of Nov. and Dec. because he was brumating. When I warmed him up, it took him a long time to start eating (last week, in fact) and for awhile I would hold him and press the feeder against his mouth till he took it. If none of this works and you need to get some poo for a fecal test, you can search this forum for Marcia's slurry which will at least get something into her so you can get the fecal done.

Well, I am a bit weirded out by the Roaches thing LMAO And I can't seem to find any of the other worms mentioned. And she was like this in her first home here.. She ate, But not very frequent. She stoped eating a week before i switched her to the 20l. I thought maybe she would be happier with more room..and she would eat better. But, that didn't work. She is actually moving around the bigger cage more then the 10. LOL! I Just went to try to find Giant mealies.. and only one place I know sells them..and they are out. *Sigh* And the Supers I find.. seem soo BIG..and the whole Popping there head off thing is not ...appealing.. But if I have to.. I will I s'pose. LOL! Wish she wasn't such a butt head. She is the only one of the 3 I can handle. :(

I'm glad she ate them for you! I was also going to suggest that she might be ovulating. Many of my females will not eat at all when they are ovulating.

Yea I Thought that too..But she doesn't look too Big, and from what I see on her tummy.. it Doesn't APPEAR to be anything out of the ordinary.. But it is hard to hold her the way I need to to see it. LOL *Crosses fingers* I Just hope all she wanted was a Bigger worm! LOL
