Again, I hate to say it.. but the great people of Petco suggested to us that we can keep a male and female in the same 20 gal without babies if we maintain the temps. From what I am reading and seeing on hear.. doesn't look or sound viable. Any insights? I think eggs would be cool and it would be a great experience, but wow... still new to this and need not be new and inundated with geckos.
Three may be enough for me... for now :main_huh:

Can you imagine keeping male and female teenagers from breeding if you keep them unsupervised in the same enclosure, no matter what the temps? Seriously, as I think you know from your post, "just say no" doesn't work with geckos either.

Well Mr. Petco maybe meant that you can cool them down the whole year....
I mean if you cool a laying female shewill stop ovulating right? But hey how healthy Geckos would you have if they are the whole year cooled down^^

Thanks for the advise. I am not loving petco much right now. I appreciate the help from people who actually care about my babies.

I'd suggest you purchase another 20 gallon. Ha... You shouldn't always believe a pet store employee. Do the research before you buy a pet... :-\

Actually I thought I had because I had read that the temps could be controlled as well, never even crossed my mind that this may not be viable
