well as i was looking on youtube i saw that ppl keep sometimes 2-3 geckos in one of those 12 qt tubs and they seem to be doing fine. i know if u house 2 geckos in little space they will fight sometimes, my question is if you have a ten gallon with muliple hides in both he hot and warm side and steady temps and multiple levels could yu house 2 in there??? also if you cant how do they manage to keep them healty looking in those videos, and ive seen it from a few breeders videos on youtube

Are you talking about adults, juveniles or babies? 12qt isn't even big enough for one adult.
I could see a 12qt being used for 2 babies, but it wouldn't last long at all. They'd outgrow it pretty fast. I honestly can't comment on whether or not to keep two together as I only did it once with two babies in a 20 gallon tank, until I got my rack built. Since then, every one of my geckos has been housed individually, whether it be in a tank or tub. they just get better care when kept alone. No competing for food, hides or the perfect hot spot.

Housing 2 leo's together can be done but many here won't recommend it. They don't enjoy company and don't want to feel competitive for food. If you want another gecko just get another 10 gallon.

I house two females in a 29 gal, they have some magetic ledges and multiple hides. They get along great. So I decided to add one more. Turns out they started picking on the new one. So I had to take her out. I wouldn't house two in anything smaller than that. IMO 10 gal is too small for one adult gecko. (15 gal in much better)

20 gallons is just fine for two leos just make sure they are both females. Never house two males together.

I keep two females together in a 28qt tub. They do fine.

but my youtube its being gay!!!!!

PLEASE show some semi public respect, you are on a forum, not talking with your buddies. Be respectful of others and keep a open mind to the fact that you dont know who you may be talking to or offending. Sorry for being so
"abrahamavelar" with you but i take this type of thing very seriously.

@ the OP. I belive 10gal is the BARE minimum for a single adult leo, ive had my babby in one, once she hit 3 months she was too big for it in my opinion, shes in a 20gal now and it works very nice. I think a 20long or 29gal(no diffrence really) would be best for multiple geckos. As for age, i belive they are concidered juvis until almost a year of age. Do you have any pics of your animal?
