What is the minimum requirement to house a single gecko alone?
I have tons of ten gallons kickin' around, but these are too small ovbiously. I have the resources to get cheap exo terra terrariums.
Would the 18x18x18 be alright? Could I got a bit smaller to save on space, or not recommended?

I keep my adults in a 16x16x16" loaded with branches, fake plants, hides, etc. They seem happy enough. As long as you decorate appropriately, I think they would be very happy in the 18" cube.

I have some 12x12x18 at the store I work at. They seem really tiny.
The 18x18x18 have a really large footprint, and I wouldnt be able to house many geckos.
I'm limited for space.
Maybe I need to wait until I move.

18 x 18 x 18 would really only house 2 females, i is only about 25 gallons and each female will require about 10 gallons to herself. The 12 x 12 x 18 is only about 11 gallons, which although is a while gallon larger than a 10 gallon, I use one as a QT tank for when I get new geckos and I can say they look cramped in it, long term I personally would go larger.

They are small, good for little babies though.

the 12 x 12 x 18 is actually pretty big for babies, they really do best in something smaller. I normally upgrade "kids" into 10 gallon tanks right around 8-10 grams, placing a gecko smaller than that in something so big they can get stressed out. Babies should be housed in something around 1-2 gallons.
