I know there is probably a thread already on here more or less laying this out, but I can't seem to find it. So what I'm wondering from our breeders is...how do you house the newly hatched geckos until they are ready for sale? What kind of tank/container, what heating source, etc? I just want to make sure I have everything I'll possibly need if in fact my new female IS gravid. Thanks in advance :)

I house hatchlings in their own 6 qt tub with 2 hides and keep a moist paper towel under their cool hide to aid them in shedding

So you just put a heating pad under the other side then? No heat lamp?

Ok that's what I figured...I just want to be sure I'm ready for the little darlings if in fact she does lay some fertile eggs. I'm pretty sure she's slowly getting "fatter" so only time will tell :)

I don't use a rack except for "overflow" hatchlings. I house mine in front opening 20 gallon long tanks from glasscages.com. I use zoo-med flexwatt which I run along the length of the tank in the back. Then I use plexiglass dividers to divide each tank into 3 sections. Each section is 12"x10" and has heat in the back. Each section gets either 1 gecko or 2 clutchmates if they are the same size.
