Housing The Babies

I want to put my baby geckos in shoeboxes on a shelf but i am having a hard time trying to figure out how to heat them.
any suggestions?

Assuming you dont have extra heat tape or uth (that would be the obvious)...what do you have as far as tubs/cages go? How did you plan on keeping the babies?

They can be 6qt 4 qt and 12 qt right? I just assumed thats what he ment lol as thats what most people usually say for 6 qt autmaticly.

i planned on using a heat cable i just wanted to make sure it would work with my set up

heat cable will work...it'll work better if you make a little groove in the shelving to lay the cable in. That way it doesn't slowly wear away when you pull the tubs in and out.

And make sure it's regulated by a thermostat. Heat cable can get pretty hot.

will the heat tape burn a wood shelf or should i use a metal shelf for the babies to be on.
