How big do they get?

Hey. I want to know; how big/long to beardies get to be? Cause I have seen pics of some beardies and they are HUGE!

Yes-that's the general size
The German Giant strain are the ones that can be huge at 2 feet long with their heavy bodies and on the other end-some beardies including the Rankin crosses can be petite at around 12 to 14 inches long

I have a bearded dragon, and as adults, they range from about 18' to 24', although there are exceptions. There are some smaller dragons such as the rankin's dragon. There is a really great website for beardies, beardeddragon.org. I recommend you check it out. As for German Giants, I hadn't heard of them before today. I was browsing the forums on beardeddragon.org, and came across this thread. One of the people says they breed GG's. Here's the link: http://www.beardeddragon.org/bjive/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=79866

You might want to talk with them. I absolutely LOVE my beardie, and highly recommend them.

Around 11 or 12 years ago when I first "discovered" Beardies and "Sandfire Dragons" were the only really colorful morphs out there-German Giants were really popular and there were a lot of huge Beardies on the market for sale
