i would like to know how i feed a leopard gecko because im new to lizards and i heard they love crickets and mealworms which is the best and what to do

Find out what the gecko was eating before you got it, which may be a guide as to what to try first. Other than that, put some mealworms in a bowl and leave them in the cage. Put about 4 crickets in the tank and see what it does with them. The gecko may not eat at first until it becomes more used to the new environment. The best food to feed a gecko, in my opinion, is the one(s) that the gecko will eat.
