How do you convince your gecko to take a bath?

Everytime I try to give Greg a bath he ZOOMS up my arm or jumps all over the place and I can never get him to stay in the water for more then 2 seconds

I recommend just misting the cage and letting the humidity do its job. He doesn't need a bath.

My gecko sometimes will get food stuck on her chin and it hardens, I need to give her a bath sometimes when that happens. I just give her a quick soak (or just wet the spot and knock the hardened food off)

I prepare a "sauna" by wetting paper towel (room temperature water) and placing it all along my gecko's small carrier (a Tupperware with holes in can work too). Then I put my gecko in with the lid on top so he can't escape.

My bad, haven’t checked this in a while. The reason I’ve been trying to figure out how to give him a bath is because he STILL won’t eat, and i haven’t found any poop in a bit. Plus I’m a bit worried about his toe pads, he fell off the glass of his cage yesterday, I already cleaned it so hopefully that will fix it, I also had misted when he was out so that also could have caused him to fall.

My geckos always fall off the glass when I mist. Will he drink when you're misting the cage? Most of my crested geckos and gargoyle geckos enjoy drinking the drops that end up in the plants or on the glass. If you really feel that your gecko is getting skinnier you could consider a vet visit. As I mentioned above, I have geckos that I have literally never seen eat and they're find (and all older than 8 years).

No, he won’t drink. I’m getting worried about MBD since I can’t get him to eat, we don’t want to take him to the vet since most of the time they give him a bath and instructions then send us on our way, so I’m trying to syringe feed and give him calcium rich fruits and dusted insects.
