how do you house YOUR leos

I'd have to vote other. I use 24x24x12" high impact molded polystyrene caging. It's plastic stackable caging, but it's not a rack. You can seem them in my imgur album here (http://imgur.com/a/UFlxE).

Im sure its been answered but I cant find it, but what size tubs do you recomend on a rack? I generally house 1-2 females together. Males of course are housed alone.

For two females, a 28qt should work fine.
I house single geckos up to 60-70 grams in 15qt tubs. Once they get larger than that I move them to a 28qt. For female breeding groups (3 females, 1 male) I use 41qt tubs.

Yeah, unless you just have 1-4 geckos and you are keeping them as pets and want to see them. Then a glass tank is nice for display.

What I got, my gecko is my amazing pet and her cage is a display in my "man cave". I will post pics of mine once I get the slate tile in.

I will make large custom enclosures once I can get more space but my adult Leo and Crestie both have their own 18x18x24 Exo-Terra tanks. The Leo likes to climb so he has lots of big windy logs to crawl on and his caves. My baby Leo is in a 10 gallon tank until she gets bigger. ^u^

i have a custom 69 gallon tank measures 48"x18"x20" LxWxH. Currently i only have two baby leos living in it as i have just started getting into leos. I used to keep a bearded dragon in the cage but due to health reasons with me involving the UVB light i had to give them up. But when i mentioned this t the owner at the local store i go to he felt bad when i donated my female to him that he gave me the two babie leos for free.

Definitely! I have my male in a 30 gallon glass tank & the female in a 20 gallon. I love to see them in the evening eating & hunting and climbing and poking around. And they seem to like to watch us.

Glass - My colony of girls lives in a ~65 gal glass cage that has more floorspace than height, and this serves as a display tank for my "display" geckos. It took me a while to find these geckos in the morphs that I wanted and with the exact look I liked so I'm definitely going to have them where I can see them!

I have the tank as a focal point in my office, behind my desk, and I love turning around to find them all with their front feet against the glass curiously watching what I'm doing on the computer. I would miss out on 90% of their personalities if they were hidden away in plastic tubs.

I use tubs but am setting up a couple of 40 gal tanks for display. I do miss seeing them except through the opaque plastic. I am going for a trio in each, with males cycled out.
But am keeping my tubs for the extra males and unruly females. And of course my little bins for babies.

We have a mix of all three types of enclosure here since we have a fairly "small" collection right now. That being said, we're working on plans for a larger rack system (we have a smaller one but it only houses 10 leos, all individually). We will always have at least one glass tank, for our girl Penny who started this crazy Leo loving journey, but all of our other Leos will likely be in a rack with tubs, or perhaps custom enclosures if we get ambitious!

Just regular 20 gallon long glass tank. It works fine although i regret not spending a bit extra for one that has doors on the front. I dont like having to reach in from above all the time, and im sure my leo doesnt care for that angle of approach either.

my initial reptile pet plan was to start with a leo, then get an arboreal rhacodactylus (gargoyle probably) after a few months. My leo is settling in well and ii'm feeling comfortable about reptile care. When i am ready for the arboreal, i will probably do one of the exo terra tall terrariums. Or perhaps have the local custom viv builder make me one if the price is reasonable. I definitely want a front door access for that shape of tank.
