I know Prelsey is hungry when he sees the cat and lifts himself up on his front legs and STARES at her with his head cocked to the side. I know that sounds way bizarre but it's true! :main_yes: I need to get a video of it, it's the cutest thing haha

Anyone else's gecko do something cute to let you know it's feeding time?

That sounds adorable! :D yes get a video if you can!

One of my hatchlings absolutely LOVES mealtime, and has already associated me with food. In fact, anytime she sees me in the room moving around she'll run to the front of her tub and start eagerly looking around for her mealworms. I need to be careful with my fingers around her because she thinks those are food as well XD. Quite the difference from her sister who is so laid back, I think it's just so funny!

I have mine in tubs in a rack system. Whenever I slide open a tub eyeballs pop up from every direction. Then they start coming out of the wood works licking their chops (and their eyeballs) like a bunch of zombies, lol. I have one female who goes out of her way to stand taller than the others in the same tub. She cracks me up with that. She reminds me of a guard dog or something. She has a bold attitude. She also likes to jump. I have to keep an eye on her at all times when the tub is open.

Tiamat pokes her head out of whatever hide she's in and stares at me. Sometimes she does that when she hears my voice as well. I can usually guess that she's hungry if she does that. lol

And yeah! Do get a video of that! It sounds real cute.

That's cool. I just have a mealie bowl in my geckos cages at all times so my gecko doesn't really have these reactions because I guess he never really gets hungry.

Most of my tanks hold several geckos so when I work late its like i get attacked with stares when i walk in, "like what the heck is taking you so long to feed me." The all come running out just waiting for you to shower em with crickets and start looking around and trying to climb the glass.

Its funny to see two geckos eat one crickets, lol! I had 2 that did that and just ripped the cricket like they were wolves attacking a deer.

I've noticed both of mine doing this, but the smaller of the two is WAY more exaggerated than the other. I still have to "help" the catch it (usually by pushing the cricket towards them). Just before they pounce, they both do this funny tail wiggle. The tip of their tail goes nuts when they realize what it is. lol.

Also the bigger one will watch us if we have the cricket cage out. Set it down in front of his cage and he's pacing back and forth watching them all.

Gets me laughing every time.
