a male of 60g is not un heard of by any means. My male is 70+ grams, and he is still considered "normal". Giant and Super Giant are genetic traits, so unless you purchased your gecko as a "giant" chances are it is just a normal. Especially if it is only 60g. Mary (stichex), has a male that is over 100g and still not concidered a giant. It is not a size that makes geckos "giant" it is their genetic background.

I think size figure in too. I have a Tremper albino who gets up to 116 grams but he is only 9 3/4" long, so I don't think he's a giant.

Hello,

The only way of knowing if it is Giant is across the parents. Genetically.

A major weight or height doesn´t mean that it is Giant.

the only 100% way of knowing is what the parents are, and the hatch weight. you cant even just test it out, because a very large gecko that is not a genetic giant could produce very large babies.you have to know what the parets are. and just becasue they are giants also does not mean the will get huge, super giants willand are ussually over 120g as adults.

Yeah, we have a male that has gotten up to 127 grams and has produced some very large babies, but he still isn't a "giant" because he doesn't have the genes.

Giants tend to be very long and lanky.
Here is a picture of our Giant, who isn't fully grown yet, but you can see how long/lanky he is (he is already 9 inches long and is 7 months old):

and a pic of our 125 gram male, that is just a "big gecko" and does not carry the giant genes at all. You can see that he is far from being long and lanky :main_laugh: he is only 9.5 inches long and is nearly two years old

Once the Giant gets to his adult size, I'll take a comparison picture of the two :main_yes:
