I know the general rule is not to breed leos that are less than ~45g or ~9 months old. Is this when they can physically start ovulating?

Does ovulation require a male? As in it is triggered by the presence of a male.

They can begin ovulation without a male. If you want to induce it Take the males old substrate(papertowls work the best for this trick) cut all the dirty parts off and put them in the female's cage, but i wouldent sugest going any lower then 45g or 9 months.

I was just wondering because I read in a post that females change colors when they start ovulating. Im not trying to breed yet, I still need to get a male.
