How long can I leave my gecko unattended?

I'll be heading home for Christmas this weekend and I'm not sure what to do with my gecko. I'll be leaving Thursday morning and getting back on Sunday afternoon. I left him alone when I spent a weekend away for Thanksgiving, but I was gone for one less day that time. He seemed to be perfectly fine when I got back last time. I made sure to feed him a nice big meal of mealworms and waxworms before I left, and filled his water dish up to the brim.

The alternative would be taking him on two 3-hour car rides just a few days apart. So what should I do? Take him or leave him?

There is nothing too worry about.Feed him b4 u leave and leave water for him. They can do without for even a week if need b.I had a leo escape for 8 months and she survived. No worries

He'll be fine. The only things I ever worry about are power outages and things like that but they're definitely fine without food for that long.

I dont know if Im a horrible person or not...but I've gone away for 14 days before and left my adult leo home, with a full bowl of water, and a bowl of mealies, and he was absolutely fine when I returned.

As long as you have heat and water they are good for a long time (esp adults). We go on a week long family trip every year and all I do is add another bowl of water (in case they spill one) and fill their bowls up with worms. We don't have many power outages and our trips are in the late spring so the ambient temps are good anyways.
