I have seven eggs incubating at 88 degrees. All are looking good and no failures yet in the fertile eggs. One egg will be six weeks on Friday. Two more eggs are 5 weeks old today. At first, these eggs were incubating at 90 degrees for the first 3 weeks, then the rest of the time has been 88. I just candled the two eggs that are 5 weeks and still see a bunch of veins, but no shadow or shape of a baby. One egg is more bulkier than the other. The bulky egg has veins all over it. The other egg has neat veins, like the baby is organized:
It is like this on both the top and bottom of the egg. (There are a lot of veins and the egg glows red) Sometimes, it is pink or red without candling it, then sometimes a grayish white color. But then there are times where the shell is white. There is some clutter in it. The middle is clear. It is the most moist egg, looks like it is sweating, but it isn't hatching time, because it isn't really big nor denting. It seems to still be good. Firm, white shell.
How long does it take at these temperatures to see the shadow of a baby and how long did it take your eggs to hatch at these temperatures? Or how long you heard?
