How Long to Hatch

I have seven eggs incubating at 88 degrees. All are looking good and no failures yet in the fertile eggs. One egg will be six weeks on Friday. Two more eggs are 5 weeks old today. At first, these eggs were incubating at 90 degrees for the first 3 weeks, then the rest of the time has been 88. I just candled the two eggs that are 5 weeks and still see a bunch of veins, but no shadow or shape of a baby. One egg is more bulkier than the other. The bulky egg has veins all over it. The other egg has neat veins, like the baby is organized:

It is like this on both the top and bottom of the egg. (There are a lot of veins and the egg glows red) Sometimes, it is pink or red without candling it, then sometimes a grayish white color. But then there are times where the shell is white. There is some clutter in it. The middle is clear. It is the most moist egg, looks like it is sweating, but it isn't hatching time, because it isn't really big nor denting. It seems to still be good. Firm, white shell.

How long does it take at these temperatures to see the shadow of a baby and how long did it take your eggs to hatch at these temperatures? Or how long you heard?

Thanks a lot for the reply. It really helped.

I candled them again. The bulky egg is almost ready. I saw the little baby moving in it, well, saw it's big head moving and arms. Looks like his mom with that big, annoying head. The only one, I see no baby, just veins, but I'll let nature take it's time. I say it will be here today to Saturday.

Now I am even more excited.

I hurt my leg, so I am sitting around bored, hoping they will hatch, so I candled them a hour ago. (I need to leave them alone, so this will be the last time I will touch them.)

Now the bulky egg has gotten bigger and it is dark at the top of the egg, like two big circles moving. It still has the red glow and the veins though. The second egg is now showing the shape of the baby. It looks like it is breathing though, moving it's little air pouch up and down. So I know they should be here this week, if a house hazard does not get to them--little brother and stupid dog. They are carrot tail tangerine x normal.

How Long to Hatch (1 More ?)

(Same eggs that were talked about above) Both of the eggs are about to hatch--clutchmates: from left to right: eggs 2 and 4. Egg 2 is big, swollen, and transparent. Looking good. The other egg, was white and stuff a few days ago, now the shell is yellow and denting. There is a baby inside of it. The shell has a bump or something at the top of it--like a air bump or something. I was planning on waiting to see what will happen, but it's been like this all day, and it should had hatched by now, right? You think it may had went bad? Inside, the it is still pink and has veins, but idk if the baby is ok.

(That yellow thing on egg 4 is the bump)

Not to be rude since this is your thread and all but how long does it take an egg if incubated at 82 degrees

That's okay. I say it takes closer to 8-12 weeks or more, since it is on the lower end.

They didn't make it. One died earlier on and one died while hatching.

But the ones in one of my other topics did make it, although I got to them when they were very hard. I never got to see through them the whole time, just incubated until they hatched or spoiled. (I have a topic about them though).

But I found out the mother of the dead babies had 8 fertile eggs....all died, she looked healthy, but looks can be deceiving, so I took her to the vet. Eventually, she had parasites, which wasn't my fault, because she is fairly new. A lot of them. I couldn't pay for her now, but I will when I get paid...then my mom don't believe in paying medical expenses for geckos, saying they are little animals, but she don't know. I'll do it at a time when she's gone out of town.
