How often can i open my egg incubator?

I Need to rehumidify it because the water evaporates to the lid, amd since i dont want it dripping onto the eggs, i have to place a paper towel on the lid. So now i cant see the eggs and im worried that somethings wrong with them and i wont know and wont treat them in time. So how often can i open the lid to check on them?

It's not usual for the water to condense that often at the top. I don't remember whether you have a professionally made or a home made incubator. Is it possible that there's too much liquid in the egg container? I don't think it's too bad to open it often, but don't think it's a great thing to do. If you can find some way to reduce the water collecting at the top, that would be best.
