I keep a bowl filled barely half way with mealworms and the three of them just eat whenever they feel like it. They never finish everything.

I also give them the waxworms, but apparently after reading this thread I spoil them way to much. They love the waxworm. I was giving them 3 waxworms each, sometimes twice a week.

Once or twice a month I get some crickets, but I think they are a waste being there are so many places to hide, and the crickets could actually die before being eaten as strange as that sounds.

I don't know what they weigh. I don't think any scale in this house weighs in grams. (tempted but I wont say it).

Here are pics if that helps. I think they are looking pretty good without being overweight.

i keep a small bowl with mealies at all times, and just add more, and clean it every 2 or 3 days. i dont put more than enough to tell if there not eating, if that makes any sence. it lets them eat when ever they want. i only have one gecko that "looks" over weight but shes really not. shes 72g and i just weighed her tonight. but she is perfictly healthy. all of my other geckos are solid as a rock.

well i definitely didn't expect such a response but it's nice to see so many varied opinions.

We keep a bowl full of mealies in with our juveniles and hacthlings pretty much at all times and top if off constantly and clean the dishes every two days. Our adults we feed mainly superworms every other day and mealies if they aren't taking to the supers off the bat. We use crickets for those who don't seem to want to eat or hatchlings that just aren't interested in something that moves as slowly as a mealie. We give wax worms once a month and pinkies to larger females and males.

Were working on getting everyone off of crickets but some are just stubborn and enjoy the chase it seems.

We usually feed at dusk to try and simulate their ways in the wild.
