Mind you I am home on unemployment due in part to illegal workers (under insured companies and the economy killed me too). We had a guy who was illegal after his papers didn't go through and he is now GREEN CARDED again after 5 attempts and working on citizenship:main_thumbsup:

you know what paul.... i know that video is funny, as i was watching it i was thinking. well this is funny, but i was NOT laughing. i cant laugh at this. ill be honest these men are some of the nicest guys you will ever meat. but i know for a fact that they are 90% of the reason (the other 10 being our shitty economy, but guess whaty they aint helping that either so might as well blame all 100% on them). i am out of a fucking job. i am a stone mason, you guys have seen the work i do. no man on earth can do the quality work, as fast as i or my associates could do for 10 dollars an hour. when i go out to do stone work it is 25 a squarfoot but cause of our economy no one wants real stone anymore. now its fake stone veneer. im fine with that i can make it look so real that even a trained eye cant tell the diff. and i charge 18 a squar foot. the problem is the everyday person has no idea what they are looking at and thinks it looks the same, and it doesnt mind you! but because they charge 10 dollars an hour they get the job.

heres my real problem..... the reason i charge so much is not only because its worth it for me to do such a good job, but I NEED TO MAKE A LIVING. I NEED TO, TO SURVIVE. when you have 12 of them living in one appartment that is only $600 a month, well they dont need to make much money do they?

and just to remind you all im not racest i just speak the truth. my great, great grandparents worked their fucking asses off to get here from italy. and once they were here they worked there fucking asses off just to survive. my great grandparents opened up a huge textile shop. they were true imigrants. not a fucking fence jumper that will cut your grass for $7 an hour.

Right on Nevin! My company pays $245,000 a year in insurance cost to be up to standard and be legal in every way. Other copanies have landscape/ driver insurance and have 1 grew cutting grass, 2 undercutting the treework industry. The beaner crews work at $10 an hour and Brotha.. I make $800 + a week after taxes to live hand to mouth. I know my job so well I can do it in my sleep, as I am sure you can too. I take pride in the fact that I can go into a nasty over grown yard and leave a PROPERLY pruned tree that is also pleasing to the eyes. You go into a house and leave a work of art that can also be viewed for years.

I am not a racist either and work with a Ecuadorian , but would gladly vote for the harshest punishments(even unconstitutional) for illegal aliens who abuse my country.

It is illegal to employ illegals, so turn those companies in that employ them. We are going the other route, reporting under insured companies and hopefully ridding them of their cut throat tactics.

I was trying to make lite of a serious issue we have in this country. Health care is through the roof due to illegals getting free health care, wages are down due to thier willingness to work cheap and our US dollar is the second biggest import into Mexico!!!

They do not stimulate the economy for the most part and in doing that suck it dry like a tick and then spawn more illegals that cost us money.

Sadly though, this economy has people shopping for price, not quality.

I worked as a granite fabricator for counter tops and with no new house being biult and noone wanting to spend a couple of grand to put granite in there house I am out of a job. I am also a chef but there is nothing out there that will pay more than minimin wage. But here where I am I have at least 5 im sure illegals coming to my home wanting to cut my grass or paint my address number on the gutter. I have a sign to tell people not to come to my door and sell anything. But I guess they cant read english!

It's gotten really bad with illegals up here in Oregon as well...to the point that our capital city is nicknamed "Little Mexico". There are a LOT of farmland and dairies here, and 99% of the farm hands are illegal.

My brother in VA, who lays dry wall for a living (and he does a damn good job), is feeling the pinch from the illegal immigrants. His employer hires them because, of course, they'll work for peanuts. Meanwhile, my brother is barely making ends meet and he has a wife and two little ones to support. My father, who has been unemployed for a while now due to the economy, applied for unemployment and had to fight to get it, meanwhile, illegals pretty much waltz into the unemployment line and are handed a fucking check. My father is a veteran of two wars.

I know that many illegals have families back in their home countries to support as well, and I feel for them, but that's no excuse for them to come in illegally and expect a fucking hand-out. I've seen the work that some of them do. You get what you pay for.

I don't think of myself as prejudice either. How could I? I'm part Puerto Rican? lol But I also can't stand thieves, which in my eyes, is exactly what these illegals are. Albeit, there is an exception to every rule. My brother worked with a Hondurian a while back who came in illegally but he wanted to make his presence in the US legit. He worked hard to get landed, but in the meantime he had to work under the table, so to speak so that he could send money to his family.

i took masonry in votech in highschool. my sr year i got hooked up with this guy that went to the bar my mom worked at everysingle day. he was a stone mason 57 years. got me hired for who he was working for and thats how i learned it.

good shit nev! its nice to see others take pride in their work. I was taught up north and there is a big difference in quality of workmanship down here. mostly due to the cheap workers, but the industry has come to a complete hault here now. my small ass town known for mermaids, yeah thats right mermaids LOL is a construction based town. there are people living in tents on their property. its bad sorry on a tangant but thats great work bro!
