Alright another question from a newbie.

I have had a leo now for about 3 weeks and she is really fussy about eating.

When I first got her I put in three crickets and she seemed real excited about them her tail wagged and everything and I watched her attack and eat one. Then the other two stayed in her cage for about 3 days untill I took them out.

I have put crickets in there from time to time and she hasent even touched them. I can hand feed her a silk worm about twice a day but I really want to feed her supers since my other leo loves them ( he is a pig )

So today I came home and tried to hand feed her a Superworm and she just ignored it so I'm leaving two in a little bowl for her to see if she will eat them ( Will keep you all updated )

The owner who had her before was hand feeding her Roaches ( wich I dont want in my house ) For the last 6 months he had her.

So does anyone have any suggestions?

You can see if she'll eat what you want her to eat if you let her get really hungry, or you can (this is kind of gross) rub some of the guts of what she wants to eat on the feeder you want her to eat. Or you can feed her what she wants to eat which is the only thing that has ever worked for my kids.

i read somewhere that if a gecko gets hungry enough, itll eat whatever you give it.

that said, i still have a girl that will not eat mealies.

Same here...some of my geckos are so stubborn, they will only eat if they are offered what they wanted to eat. There is no way I could get them to eat another food type! I admit I spoiled them too much, I have a couple geckos that'll only eat the white, freshly shedded roach now! If I offer one with skin, she'll still chomp it but will spit it out after 2 bites!! :(
