When you say the female is "ready", do you mean that she is the right size, or that she is ovulating? If she is ovulating, she is truly "ready" and may respond to the male, if not at first, then after a little while. If you mean that the male is "ready" and the right size, it still depends on the female (she has to be ovulating). The male may not mate while you're watching. Some of my males never mate while I"m watching.

In general, however, for most geckos (there are exceptions) this is not breeding season, it's slowing down and preparing for winter season. Most geckos begin to be ready to breed around mid-January. It may be best to wait until then.

Ok,thanksI wanted to know the last that you say, if I made a cool period they can be ready at January or the period it isn't necesary?

When I say "ready" I mean he is in the right size, right age and right weight(75gr) and I try to put this female with a male and just 10 seconds later the male try to mate, but female waggle his tail like a cat and she doesn't let her self be mated.
So, for that reason I ask if I need the cooler period for the ovulation.

Thanks

Some people cool their leopard geckos, but most seem to feel that it is not necessary. I recommend you separate the male and the female and re-introduce them in the middle of January or later. At that time you have a choice to either leave them together, even if they don't seem to want to breed (as long as neither one is too rough with the other --many males will back off for quite awhile of the female indicates she's not interested, but some won't), or to separate them and reintroduce them weekly to see if anything changes. I keep my males and females together full time during the breeding season but other people do not.
