I have two females living in a 40 gallon tank. I know they are females for a fact. They fight sometimes which worries me because one is gravid. How can I make a tank divider to separate them?

Measure the inside dimensions. Get a piece of plexiglass cut to fit. Put some opaque contac paper on the plexiglass so they can't see each other.

if you cant get your hands on plexi glass you can also use wood, anything from 1/4 inch to 1inch will be fine.

Is it normal for them to have small scraps every now and then? Is this something I should be worried about? There is only one situation where i think I see them fighting and they only do that at night when my one female, the gravid one, comes out to explore. She will go into my other oes moist hide and they will bounce around and i hear them bouncing off the walls of the hide and it lasts like 7 to 10 seconds. Then they stop and both just lay there. Is this bad? Should I need to split them?

Yes, I would split them up, they don't sound like they are getting along, and since one of them is gravid, I don't think she needs the extra stress.

Ok I split them up. The female is 1.5 weeks along on her first clutch. I can see the eggs through her, should this help her have a better environment to lay? Less stress?

I'm looking to do the same and picked up some plexiglass and GE Silicone I sealant.
Did you have a separate enclosure ready while the sealant cures? It's non toxic and its probably a no brainer but can I sneak some applications ( it's quick cure) since my leos are in their humid hides all day anyways.

Also imo there aren't such things as small and large scraps; a small bully is still a bully and at least one of your geckos will be affected negatively.
