...So i purchased a Jungle Emerine at the Daytona Expo a couple months ago from Mike Rekowski, however, it was still a baby, not too much past hatchling size, and being that the rest of my geckos were quite a bit bigger than him, i had no place to put him when i got home (and also cuz i didn't have any appropriate sized food for it, only had 2"+ superworms at the time). So my friend that i went up there with said that he would hold him for me for a little while to grow him up to a bit bigger of a size for me, and then i can have him back whenever i wanted, or whenever i got another cage... So i said ok...
I just picked him back up from my buddy today as i finally have a new cage for it all set up... and i was shocked to see what he turned into (haven't seen it for about 2 months)...
And here is the pic of what he looked like when i picked him up in Daytona...
...Anddd here is what he looks like only 2 months or so later...
...You can see on his back where the "brownish" blotches on his back as a hatchling turned into green/emerald with black spots... Can still kinda see the jungle pattern, but there are so many colors on this guy, it is rediculous! Greens, emeralds, reds, oranges, lavenders, yellow... etc etc etc. And his tail actually ISN'T white with black spots now... The "white" is actually SOLID LAVENDER!!! (The pic really does no justice as to how nice and bright he is!) ...Such a nice pickup!!!
So yeah, how's that for a change, huh?!?! lol
This is why i love Leo's! So awesome! So much diversity and "magic tricks" up their sleeves! lol
