Gents, how about we pay that CL seller a visit:main_evilgrin:

Just kidding, but in all seriousness thats just bloody sick and wrong. torturing a poor animal like that. If i was there i would have had a right go at the seller then had them reported for animal torture and abuse.

poor little guy..

On the plus side the little pooper seems alert. The nubs wont slow him down any. With the right care and propper diet that pooper is gonna live a long healthy life. Glad someone that cares took him in.

OMG! I'm so glad you have him! Feed him lots of green, leafy lettuce and some superworms/crickets. I agree with Tom, he should thrive well with his "nubs". I'm sure he'll still be able to get around. Update us asap!

Oh yeah, and keep him by himself!

The green mix I use is made up of Collard, turnip, and dandilion greens. Stick with those 3 in any combo and Hiccup will be golden...lol the name makes me laugh.

I'm from Ohio too, did you get him from Akron? I've seen alo of beardie posts in my local cl is Akron but I'm not a beardie guy so I never look at them.
That is sad, I think I would of went off on those people. That's animal cruelty and I might of punched someone in the face. That makes me sick to my stomach with anger.

At least it's in a good home now, I'm glad to see someone will be taking proper care of it now. Cudos to you my friend..

I say call animal cruelty you have him in your posession. you can at the very least have them shut own temporarily and they will seize their current animals. I wouldnt have even paid for an animal in that condition I would have called a few vets and ask where to go to get help then you could have taken in a "siezed" animal for probably nothing. if they let that happen to him can you imagine whats happening to their other animals? these cases like this arent isolated incidents, and the fact they still turned a profit out of the poor fellow is sad and sick because they will probably just keep this vicious cycle going.

I am so thrilled you took him in most people would cull off an animal in such a condition, and im happy you saw past these imperfections. I am happy to hear hes thriving but i strongly encourage you to pursue this through the proper animal rights channels. If you have a nearby herp society id report these people to them too. Accidents happen and i mean even geckos get a dropped tail it doesn't mean mistreatment, however it is apparrent they do not know how to care for these animals ICEBERG LETTUCE?! REALLY???! Im begging you do something, beyond giving them your two cents, take it to the next level. Can you imagine how much pain that poor thing was in after having his feet and tail "eaten off"? i may have personally culled off an animal after such an attack to end its sufferring, and that says a lot cause in deformity cases i never find it necessary to cull off. Which makes me even MORE MAD cause his legs getting eaten off? while possible i think this is more a case of animal abuse/torture. from my understanding most attacks end in death, i would like to beleive that the legs got eaten off but by the way these people acted towards you.. i almost wouldnt doubt they are the reason that happened.. and that just MAKES ME SICK.

You're a better person than me. Sadly, I wouldn't have paid $50 to save it. Maybe $20 or so. I would have reported them though.

I got my first dragon Sunday....we named it Toothless, from the same movie.

I got my girl Chance the same way. She's grown quite a bit, but she will never be as large as my other girl that I bought from a breeder at a convention. It's so sad.
