I love Leopard Geckos. I am addicted to them. My first Leopard gecko was a SHTCT way back in 2007. i want to know what was your first gecko? I no longer have my first gecko I wish I did. What Gecko was your first to hook you into this AWESOME hobby?

My first was two beautiful high yellow / normals. I still have them, they're both healthy females, everybody just adore them.

Nothing like Normals I think some people have forgotten how beautiful they are.

We had a few pairs of normals in high school and when they had babies I took care of them. Their names were Skittles and Scribbles

This is Skittles a few months old. Yes they were on sand :disappointed: once I got my own I learned how bad that was!

The first gecko in our house was given to our son Dylan. It was a Murphy Patternless with somewhat of an attitude. We originally though it was a female and name it Phyllis, but after getting a male to breed to it we found out it was actually a male. So we renamed him Phil. Phil ended up having testicular cancer and that is why we sexed him incorrectly. He lived for 5 more years before he passed away from the cancer.

That is so sad but he help build what you have today. Now I would say you and the kids are addicted lol

I want to set up a natural set up in my living room so my kids can share their love with their friends I have some normals to put in there to make it as natural as can be

I got my first gecko, a high yellow, from the big box pet store in 2013. She had some problems and I was still learning appropriate husbandry, so she only lived a year. However, I still have the next 3 geckos I got: Tremper albino in 2003, normal and a Tremper albino in 2004.

My first was a SHTCT from a local pet store. I still have the boy and he's a healthy 106g to date and about 5 years old. He's the guy in my avatar. Now, depending on the time of the year I have 20-50 leo's in my home...lol
